“Today is the start of National Law Enforcement Week. This exceptional week is a special time to honor those who have gone before us and those who are currently serving. We are grateful for everyone’s service. You can find a list of events this week on our website.” – Sheriff Chad Jensen

National Law Enforcement Week is May 14 – May 20. The Cache County Sheriff’s Office will be honoring those who have fallen in the line of duty serving here in Cache County and the many others that have fallen throughout the nation.

Throughout the next week, there will be different events in honor of those who have fallen and will proceed as follows:

Monday, May 15, 2017

8:00 a.m. – Flag ceremony at Logan City Police Department

9:00 a.m. – Laying flowers at the graveside of Von Williamson at the Wellsville Cemetery.

9:30 a.m. – Laying flowers at the graveside of Alma P. Sorensen and Charles Dickey at the Hyrum Cemetery.

10:00 a.m. – Laying flowers at the graveside of James Merrill at the Smithfield Cemetery.
