Learn what the Sheriff is doing to make our community safe. The Office of Sheriff is more than red lights and sirens; learn what happens in the Jail, Patrol, Courts, Civil Process, in our schools and with the SWAT team. The Citizen academy is a great way to learn more about the Sheriff's Office, the deputies and the many different tasks and duties preformed. The Citizen Academy will cover topics such as, SWAT, patrol, search and rescue, court security, investigations, Neighborhood Watch, Jail operations and other issues pertinent to the public safety in Cache County. The Citizen Academy is a seven week course with a 2 1/2 hour class once a week, with a dinner/graduation at the conclusion. We have one Academy a year and it starts in February, so if you are interested or have any questions, you can contact Chief Deputy David Bennett at 435-755-1004 or by e-mail at: All sessions are held at the cache County Sheriff's Office at 1225 W Valley View, Logan, Utah.
